Afterschool Programs
RoboFun offers 1.5-hour afterschool classes that meet once a week for an entire semester, providing New York City children with engaging, project-based STEAM learning.
Each RoboFun class focuses on a specific technology—such as coding or robotics—and guides students through a structured curriculum where they can develop and master skills from beginner to advanced levels.
These classes help students understand and learn key technologies like coding and robotics in a fun, engaging way. Along the way, they build essential STEAM skills—including problem-solving, critical thinking, engineering design, and digital creativity. Students also learn real technical skills such as basic programming, robot building, sensor integration, and game or animation design. These experiences can spark interest in future careers like software engineering, robotics engineering, product design, animation, and even emerging fields like AI and automation.
