Learning, Communication and Wonderful New Friends for your Children

Spring and Summer Camps!

robofun spring camp

This week I've had the pleasure of watching our students present their work, as it is the last week of our winter after school program. Do you remember this type of moment from your childhood? That moment where you're independent from home and you get to show what you've created, who you've gotten to know and how you're navigating in the world.

It is a great opportunity for you to ask your child questions. You could ask: what do you feel you learned? what was the most challenging and what was the most fun, did you make some new friends? A big part of learning and communication is practicing explaining, discussing and sharing your ideas.

In our presentations, we ask each child to tell about their work. We practice so they become more comfortable with public speaking. In summer camp, we continue this practice. Friday is presentation day at summer camp! It is a wonderful time to see your child present, explain and share his or her creations.

This week we are finishing morning camp and then next week we're coming upon another 7 days of spring camp from April 6 through April 14th. If your child is free, we'd love to help them learn, play and make new friends.
